Poets and emperors wore the laurel; Florence carved it into its palaces and coins. The Alloro collection brings that emblem to the hand — a band of leaves sculpted in relief, holding an oval-cut ruby of approximately 0,70 carats.

Cast in 950 platinum using the lost-wax technique and finished by hand, the 3 mm shank alternates sculpted leaves with brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0,11 carats, F color and VVS clarity. The ruby rises above them in an open griffe setting, so light reaches the stone from the side as well as from above.

This is the medium of the three center-stone sizes in the Alloro Griffe design: enough presence to stand alone, measured enough to be worn every day. The same ring exists in 18kt yellow and rose gold, and each piece is sized to the wearer's finger at the time of order.

A platinum ruby ring made this way cannot come from a production line. Each one is created individually in Florence, on order, and delivered with the Torrini 1369 Certificate of Origin; the slight variations between pieces are the signature of handwork.

This creation is not held in stock: it is crafted expressly for you, in the configuration and size you select, and delivered within 45 working days from the Order Confirmation. Every creation is handcrafted in Florence by a goldsmith workshop certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). The Maison works exclusively with natural, untreated diamonds, purchased from the Maison's diamond supplier, whose every invoice carries the declaration provided for by the World Diamond Council System of Warranties: diamonds from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict, in compliance with the Kimberley Process and with applicable EU and US sanctions regulations. Rubies, sapphires and emeralds are natural stones, selected by the Maison from specialist suppliers based in the European Union.

Use a professional ring sizer (the most accurate method!)The most professional way to find your size is by using a ring sizer. It's easy to use and available online. This way, you'll have the same tool we use in our jewelry store and, in just a few seconds, you'll know your exact size.
Measure your finger at the right time of dayFingers can swell in warm weather and shrink in cold weather. The ideal time to measure is midday, when your hands are warm, to avoid mistakes.
Avoid "DIY" methods (string, paper, ruler, etc.)These methods are popular but often inaccurate. They can work for a general idea, but not for an important purchase. If you choose to use them, always compare your results with an official size chart.
Check the ring's widthVery wide rings (such as thick bands or rings over 5 millimeters) fit differently from thinner ones. In general, wide rings may require going up by half a size.

Torrini Certificate of Origin

Every creation leaves Florence with the Torrini Certificate of Origin, issued by the Maison. It records the creation and its configuration, and its making by the Maison. Presented in its own holder, the Certificate stays with the creation over time.

The Torrini Packaging

Each creation is presented in the Torrini case, together with its soft pouch and the Certificate of Origin in its holder. Made to protect the creation in transit and to keep it over the years, the packaging is ready to be gifted: the moment of opening is part of the creation itself.

How long does it take to receive my creation?

Each creation is crafted upon request by the goldsmiths selected by the Maison and delivered within 45 working days from the Order Confirmation, shipping included — Monday to Friday, excluding Italian public holidays and the workshop's summer closure from August 7 to 28. Certain pieces require longer, as indicated above, and the Maison may extend the delivery time by up to 10 additional working days, keeping you informed. The estimated delivery date is shown once you select your size or length. Every shipment is insured until delivery and entrusted to DHL Express or, for certain destinations, FedEx.

What is your cancellation and return policy?

Every creation is made to order — crafted individually, after your order, in the model you choose, the metal you select, and the size you indicate, and, where requested, with a personal engraving. You may cancel your order within 48 hours of the Order Confirmation, without giving any reason; the amount paid is refunded by the same payment method, net of the payment-processing costs indicated in the Returns Policy. When the 48 hours expire, dedicated production begins and the order becomes final: made-to-order creations can no longer be canceled or returned. For consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications; for all other clients, all sales are final on made-to-order pieces. How do I choose the right size?

For every creation other than earrings, size or length is a production specification: your creation is made in the measurement you confirm at the time of order, and the Maison does not guarantee that it can be modified afterwards — many creations do not allow it, and where possible the adjustment is limited. We therefore invite you to verify your size with care. Our size guide provides Italian sizes as the primary reference, with international conversions; a complimentary consultation is at your disposal by email, live chat or WhatsApp, and sizes not shown can be requested before ordering.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Store your creation in its Torrini 1369 case, wrapped in tissue paper, separately from other jewelry. Put it on after perfume and cosmetics, and remove it before swimming, sport and household tasks. The Maison remains at your disposal over time for the care of your creation, professional cleaning, offered with the compliments of the Maison, and verification of the prongs and stones — as part of its after-sales service; full guidance is available under Customer Service.

Do your creations come with certificates?

Yes. Every creation is accompanied by the Torrini 1369 Certificate of Origin, documenting its configuration and its realization by the Maison; it is not an appraisal and does not constitute a valuation of the creation's economic worth. Where a gemological certification, such as GIA, accompanies a stone, it is expressly indicated in the creation's specifications and delivered with the piece.
