24kt Gold Florentine Coin Bracelet – Mezzo Zecchino, 1 Coin
Product Details
Product info
The zecchino is the coin behind the English word sequin, and the zecchino gigliato is the one with which the Grand Dukes of Tuscany renewed the florin. This 24kt gold Florentine coin bracelet carries its half, a mezzo zecchino minted in pure gold at 17 mm, on a chain of 18kt yellow gold, from the Florentine Gold Coins collection.
The coin is minted in 24kt pure gold and set by hand in a bezel of 18kt yellow gold cast by the lost-wax technique, bringing it to 20 mm, a middle measure between the quarter florin and the florin. One face bears the lily of Florence; the other, Saint John the Baptist. The chain is thicker than that of the necklaces, made for the wrist.
The bracelet comes in 16, 18 or 21 cm (6.3, 7.1 or 8.3 inches). Five mezzo zecchini along the chain make the fuller version, and other numbers can be made on request; the mezzo zecchino exists only minted in pure gold, as a bracelet, necklace, and earrings. The florin and the quarter florin, in both purities, complete the collection.
Minted in Florence and set to order by the goldsmiths selected by the Maison, with the Torrini Certificate of Origin. Each strike differs slightly from the next in relief and edge, and that difference is the signature of the hand on this 24kt gold Florentine coin bracelet.

How to Choose the Perfect Bracelet Size
- Use a wrist sizer or a soft measuring tapeThe most accurate way to measure your wrist is to use a tailor's tape measure or a wrist sizer for bangles, which is easy to find online. If you're using a ribbon or tape, wrap it around the narrowest part of your wrist without pulling it too tight. This is especially important for rigid bangles.
- Consider your comfort and personal styleIf you like snug bracelets or wear several pieces together, you may prefer a closer fit. If you value comfort and movement, choose a slightly looser size.
