The small coin of Florence on the hand: this 18kt gold Florentine coin ring carries a quarter florin cast in 18kt yellow gold, the smaller gold denomination of the Florentine Republic, set on a band of the same gold, from the Florentine Gold Coins collection.

Coin and bezel are cast together by the lost-wax technique in 18kt yellow gold, the relief finished by hand and the surface softly textured, in the harder gold of daily wear. At 16 mm, the coin sits on the finger as a point of light rather than a medal, on a band sized to the hand.

The ring is made in US sizes 3 to 13. The quarter florin also exists as a necklace, earrings, and bracelets, cast in 18kt gold, minted in 24kt pure gold or in the Perles setting.

Made to order in Florence by the goldsmiths selected by the Maison, with the Torrini Certificate of Origin. Cast and finished by hand one at a time, each coin varies slightly in relief and surface: on this 18kt gold Florentine coin ring, that variation is the sign of a piece made for one person.

This creation is not held in stock: it is crafted expressly for you, in the configuration and size you select, and delivered within 45 working days from the Order Confirmation. Every creation is handcrafted in Florence by a goldsmith workshop certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). The Maison works exclusively with natural, untreated diamonds, purchased from the Maison's diamond supplier, whose every invoice carries the declaration provided for by the World Diamond Council System of Warranties: diamonds from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict, in compliance with the Kimberley Process and with applicable EU and US sanctions regulations. Rubies, sapphires and emeralds are natural stones, selected by the Maison from specialist suppliers based in the European Union.

Each creation is made to order and delivered within 45 working days from the Order Confirmation, shipping included. Use a professional ring sizer (the most accurate method!)The most professional way to find your size is by using a ring sizer. It's easy to use and available online. This way, you'll have the same tool we use in our jewelry store and, in just a few seconds, you'll know your exact size.
Measure your finger at the right time of dayFingers can swell in warm weather and shrink in cold weather. The ideal time to measure is midday, when your hands are warm, to avoid mistakes.
Avoid "DIY" methods (string, paper, ruler, etc.)These methods are popular but often inaccurate. They can work for a general idea, but not for an important purchase. If you choose to use them, always compare your results with an official size chart.
Check the ring's widthVery wide rings (such as thick bands or rings over 5 millimeters) fit differently from thinner ones. In general, wide rings may require going up by half a size.
If you're between two sizes, choose carefullyIf you're unsure between two sizes, consider the ring style:
- For a thin ring or engagement ring → choose the smaller size

Every creation leaves Florence with the Torrini Certificate of Origin, issued by the Maison. It records the creation and its configuration, and its making by the Maison. Presented in its own holder, the Certificate stays with the creation over time.

The Torrini Packaging

Each creation is presented in the Torrini case, together with its soft pouch and the Certificate of Origin in its holder. Made to protect the creation in transit and to keep it over the years, the packaging is ready to be gifted: the moment of opening is part of the creation itself.

How long does it take to receive my creation?

Every creation is made to order: nothing is held in stock, and your piece is made in Florence after your order. Delivery takes up to 45 working days from our order confirmation, shipping included; working days exclude Italian public holidays and our August production pause. A few creations require longer, as indicated on their product page, and the handmade nature of each piece may call for up to 10 additional working days; if so, we will let you know. Are shipping, duties and taxes included?

Insured shipping is offered on every order, worldwide, wherever export regulations allow. For the United States and the other destinations listed in our Shipping Policy, import duties and taxes are also included: the price shown is final. Elsewhere, the duties and taxes applied by the destination country are payable by you on delivery; we are glad to help you assess them before you order. Every creation is insured until delivery and requires a signature on delivery. See our Shipping Policy.

Will my creation look exactly like the photographs?

The images show a sample of the selected configuration. Every creation is made by hand and, where present, set with natural gemstones: the finished piece may show slight variations in the workmanship and in the characteristics of the stones. These attest to the authenticity of the handwork and the uniqueness of the material, and are not a defect of conformity.

How do I choose the right size?

Every creation that requires a size is made for you in the size you select when ordering: many creations cannot be resized once made, and where a modification is possible, it is limited. Please choose with care, using our size guide, or write to info@torrinijewels.com for advice or for a size not listed. Should the size prove unsuitable, adjustments, where feasible, are assessed case by case at our discretion, with shipping and any duties at your expense; should the creation not match the size you ordered, the legal guarantee of conformity applies. Can I have my creation engraved?

With pleasure. A personal engraving is offered free of charge on the models that allow it. To request it, write to info@torrinijewels.com before ordering or within 48 hours of our order confirmation, with the text you would like: we confirm it in writing, and it becomes part of your creation's specifications; when agreed after your order, the 48-hour cancellation window and the delivery time restart from our confirmation. What is your cancellation and return policy?

Every creation is made to order for you. You may cancel within 48 hours of our order confirmation, by email, and receive a refund within 14 days, net of payment processing costs; after that, production begins and the order can no longer be canceled or returned. The right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications, as ours are: all sales are final on made-to-order pieces. Does my creation come with a certificate?

How should I care for my creation?

A creation in gold or platinum calls for a little everyday care: remove it before sports, manual work, and contact with chemicals or cosmetics; store it separately; clean it with a soft cloth. For everything else, you may rely on us: professional cleaning and a check of the settings and stones are part of our after-sales service, in Florence or by insured shipment at your expense. Normal wear, accidental damage, improper use, and work done by third parties are not covered by the legal guarantee. See our Terms of Sale.
